The frame is a scissor-style steel grid. Two people walk it open until the centre locks, then raise the legs and pull the canopy over the corners. There are no poles to thread and no tools. Sidewalls zip on after the roof is up — skip them if you only need shade that day.
The 3x3m frame is the quicker job. The 3x6m is the same method with a longer span, so plan on two people. That is the whole reason people type “pop-up tent” instead of “marquee”.
